We now have the great news we promised!  We have ended the PFA pause and are again offering spay/neuter assistance to those who qualify.  For participating clinics in Dickson and Montgomery Counties, call the PFA hotline at
615-794-8925 and a volunteer will return your call.
 
If you are a Lawrence County resident, call
931-852-4907 and a volunteer will return your call. In Lawrence County, our program is provided through a partnership between PFA and Friends of Lawrence County Animals (FOLCA).

PFA's first priority is to reduce birth rates by providing assistance to pet owners needing help in getting the spay/neuter surgery done.  Since 15 dogs and 45 cats are born for every human,  we cannot overcome pet overpopulation by rescuing them one at a time.   The benefits to spaying/neutering your pet...MORE

Why Adopt?

Shelter animals aren't damaged, they just need a home!  Unwanted Puppies and Kittens eventually wind up in shelters, if they are lucky. National figures indicate that on average, half of the animals in shelters are euthanized for lack of good homes.   Get more info here.
