Patty Ryan was the Dog Coordinator at Happy Tales Humane until she co-founded Abandoned Angels Rescue. She was one of the most dedicated and passionate animal rescuers I have ever met. Sadly, Patty was taken from us far too early, in September 2005, from cancer. I believe that God needed Patty to help with the animals who suffered at the hands of Katrina. Today she is one of our Angels who helps welcome our dogs to the Rainbow Bridge. Patty and her husband Hans not only rescued dogs but also provided a safe sanctuary for "unadoptable" dogs.
